Committed to good governance
The Sport for Development Coalition is committed to being a well governed, efficient and agile organisation, that listens to and is driven by the needs and views of the wider sector.
The Coalition is governed by a Board made up of leaders from the sector and wider community who oversee the delivery of the organisation’s business plan.
Meet the Board
The Sport for Development Coalition is currently hosted by the Sport and Recreation Alliance which provides the legal entity for the Coalition to receive funding and mobilise and support collective action for the sector. The governance and organisational structure of the Coalition is regularly reviewed and will continue to evolve to best meet the needs of the sector.
The Coalition's work is convened and co-ordinated by a small, back-end team led by the Executive Director.
