The Sport for Development Coalition is well-placed to support the aims of the Government's Levelling Up White Paper. Here Zenna Hopson, CEO of Dallaglio RugbyWorks, explains how the charity will contribute:

"Dallaglio RugbyWorks directly impacts on the seven of the 12 Levelling Up Missions: digital connectivity, education, skills, health, wellbeing, pride in place and crime.

"Across nine cities, we work to support young people excluded from schools, or at risk of being excluded, and help them to develop skills for the work place. Through tailored sport and education programmes, we help to improve their physical health, support their mental wellbeing and raise their aspirations.

"This means that young people who have been excluded from school, who usually would have a 54% chance of getting into employment, education or training from the age of 18, see their chances raised to 87%. We are aiming for 94%.

"Our charity works in and around the cities of Newcastle, Sunderland, Liverpool, Manchester, Leicester, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Southampton and across five London boroughs, and we are looking forward to supporting the Coalition's efforts to contribute to levelling up wherever and however we can."
